
Crane Training
XLT delivers competency based Crane Training Programs that are designed to meet the National Occupational Health & Safety Certification Standards.
These courses qualify for Building and Construction Industry Training Funding (BCITF) for eligible trainees. Contact us to find out more.
The Crane Training Programs offered are:
- C6 Crane Driver (C6, CN & CV)
Operation of a mobile crane class up to and including 60 tonnes, as detailed in the National Occupational Health & Safety Certification Standards for Uses & Operators of Industrial Equipment - NOHSC:1006 1995.
Also covers non-slewing and vehicle loading cranes.
Pre-Requisites:
Minimum age of 18 years with the ability to speak and write English to a basic level and have the necessary levels of health and fitness to safely carry out work as a Crane Driver.
- Overhead Crane
Operation of an Overhead Crane as detailed in the National Occupational Health & Safety Certification Standards for Operation of Load Shifting Equipment and Other Types of Specified Equipment - NOHSC:7019 1992.
Pre-Requisites:
Ability to speak and write English to a basic level and have the necessary levels of health and fitness to safely carry out work involved in operating a Overhead Crane.
