About XLT

XLT Industrial Training was set up as a specialist welding training facility with a commitment to providing high-quality training and addressing global needs with a focus on craftsmanship, values and attitudes.

XLT has since grown to be one of Australia's largest and most diverse private Registered Training Organisations (RTO) in Engineering, Construction and Safety.

Currently, XLT operates modern and highly-equipped training facilities in Western Australia and Queensland, and are planning on expanding operations into New South Wales.

XLT Industrial Training's quality has been recognised globally by gaining approvals from International Class Societies including Lloyds of London, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Bureau Veritas (BV) and Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and in 2008 gained Germanischer Lloyd approvals for welding and several welding procedures including the in-water/in-situ hull section weld repair procedure plus Manufacturer's Capability Certified.

In 1998 XLT began offering a Nationally Accredited Underwater Welding Course for Diver/Welders for the very first time. Since its inception, this course has attracted divers from all over the world, and regularly trains and qualifies divers from the Royal Australian Navy.

And XLT's consulting services have much experience working on many of Australia's Resources Projects writing procedures using Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel and Duplex as well as many other exotic materials.
